The company at this stage has myself, John McGettigan (Electrical and Automation) and my son Jon McGettigan (Mechanical) and selected associates. Our main concern is the design and sourcing of systems computing/Electrical/Mechanical/Hydraulic and Pneumatic, which best fit applications for our customers. Fabrication is also undertaken by strategic partners in each of many particular fields. Overall Earthling EV can offer a top quality package.
Over the years my passion for industrial electrical systems has covered everything old and new from millivolts to KV. Computer technologies have always been a large part of it. I love to challenge the industries capabilities and push the boundaries. As founder and Managing Director of Macro Automation (NZ) I was involved in the conception design and commissioning of many large scale worldwide projects at the leading edge of the technologies involved.
I have always had a keen (some say extreme) interest in Motorcycles. Soon I will add an E-Bike to my collection. My son is donating one of his VFR400s for the project and so far it looks suitable?. My Ducati collection will remain as fuel burners.
After much success racing extreme monohulls. I met a like minded Kiwi yacht designer and commissioned this extreme multihull. Our uncompromising attitudes led to designs incorporating groundbreaking technology & Style. "Earthling" caused an International frenzy. My son and I are involved in the systems design and component importation of high tech wastewater solutions. Again this company is at the leading edge of the industry and has grown quickly, to provide a multimillion $ turnover, due to a need serviced well.
